• Executive Order 1 - Gov. Matt Blunt establishes the post of Missouri Poet Laureate. (Jan. 8)

• Executive Order 2 - Gov. Matt Blunt declares a State of Emergency and directs the Missouri State Emergency Operations Plan to be activated due to severe weather that began on January 7. (Jan. 11)

• Executive Order 3 - Gov. Matt Blunt activates the state militia in response to the aftermath of severe storms that began on January 7. (Jan. 11)

• Executive Order 4 - Gov. Matt Blunt transfers all matters pertaining to the sexual assault evidentiary kit and exam payment program from the Department of Health and Senior Services to the Department of Public Safety effective no sooner than August 28, 2008. (Feb. 6)

• Executive Order 5 - Gov. Matt Blunt extends the declaration of emergency contained in Executive Order 07-34 and the terms of Executive Orders 07-36 and 07-39 through March 15, 2008, for the purpose of cleanup efforts in Missouri communities affected by severe weather that began on December 8, 2007.

• Executive Order 6 - Gov. Matt Blunt activates portions of the Missouri National Guard in response to severe winter storms that began on February 10, 2008. (Feb. 12)

• Executive Order 7 -Governor Matt Blunt declares a State of Emergency and directs the Missouri State Emergency Operations Plan to be activated due to severe winter weather that began on February 10, 2008. (Feb. 12)

• Executive Order 8 - Gov. Matt Blunt gives the director of the Department of Natural Resources the authority to suspend regulations in the aftermath of severe weather that began on February 10, 2008. (Feb. 20)

• Executive Order 9 - Gov. Matt Blunt establishes the Missouri Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission. (March 6)

• Executive Order 10 - Gov. Matt Blunt declares a State of Emergency as a result of severe weather that began on March 17 and activates the Missouri State Emergency Operations Plan. (March 18)

• Executive Order 11 - Gov. Matt Blunt activates the state militia in response to the aftermath of severe weather and flooding that began on March 17. (March 18)

• Executive Order 12 - Gov. Matt Blunt gives the director of the Department of Natural Resources the authority to temporarily suspend regulations in the aftermath of severe weather that began on March 17, 2008. (March 21)

• Executive Order 13 - Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder, upon express delegation of Gov. Matt Blunt, expands the number of state employees allowed to participate in the Missouri Mentor Initiative to 300. (March 27)

• Executive Order 14 - Gov. Matt Blunt declares a State of Emergency and directs the Missouri State Emergency Operations Plan to be activated due to severe weather that began on March 31. (April 1)
