Scope and Content
This series contains correspondence and memoranda to and from the Senate dealing with legislative matters. Included are messages from the governor notifying the Senate of appointments and a proposing a reorganization of the Department of Transportation as well as returning vetoes or approvals of bills and resolutions; to the Governor confirming or returning appointments; from the House concerning legislation under consideration; from representatives naming floor handlers for bills; and to the Secretary of the Senate concerning absences and resignations, relating to the consent calendar, and returning bills left in committee.

Scope and Content
This series contains Senate roll calls, which record votes taken by the Senate on both Senate and House bills and resolutions. Also found in this series are daily attendance roll calls. For bills and resolutions, roll call records list all the members of the Senate, how they voted, the date, and the vote totals. Not all bills and resolutions came to a vote, so there are many gaps in the sequence of numbers.

Scope and Content
This series contains records of the veto session of the 2nd Session of the 91st General Assembly held September 11-12, 2002. Veto sessions, which are mandated by Article III, Section 32, of the Constitution of Missouri, occur when the governor vetoes a bill or resolution too late in the regular session for the Senate to give it their consideration.
